Reem escapes from the streets – Sponsor Iraqi Children Foundation

Thank you all for supporting a child in need through Sponsor Iraqi Children Foundation. Your generous contributions supported someone like Reem, who has come such a long way because of the efforts of concerned individuals in her community.

Reem is 12 years old and lives with her Iraqi family in an abandoned building that is not suitable for housing. She sells tissue on the streets and sometimes collects soda cans to help support her family. Because of her work on the streets, Reem has been exposed to abuse and disease, and suffered psychologically. Fortunately, because of the support of donors like you, caring adults in Reem’s local Iraqi community reached out to her and helped her with tutoring, healthy meals, other services, and lots of love and compassion.
